The gifs API is open to the public and can be used with or without an API key.
Why would I want a key?

- Ability to delete and manage your gifs.
- Increased duration limit for all media being added.
- Increased rate limit for importing or uploading gifs.
- Ability to beta test API as we release future updates.
To get a free API key, go to your gifs.com API dashboard, and hit generate key.
