Place the Extender:

Position the extender in a location where it can receive a strong Wi-Fi signal from your router but is still within a reasonable distance.
Power On:

Plug in your Netgear extender to a power source and turn it on. Wait for the LED lights on the extender to stabilize.
Connect to the Extender:

On your computer or mobile device, go to the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
Connect to the Wi-Fi network with the name (SSID) that typically includes your router's name followed by "_EXT" or similar.
Open a Web Browser:

Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) on your device.
Visit the Extender Setup Page:

In the address bar of the web browser, enter the default web address for Netgear extenders:
If these addresses don't work, check the extender's manual for the correct URL.
Create an Account:

If prompted, create a Netgear account or log in if you already have one.
Follow the Setup Wizard:

The setup wizard will guide you through the configuration process. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your extender.
Select Network to Extend:

Choose your existing Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks and enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Configure Extender Settings:

Configure additional settings such as the extended network's name (SSID) and password.
Apply Settings:

After completing the setup, apply the changes. The extender will restart with the new settings.
Connect Devices:

Reconnect your devices to the new extended Wi-Fi network using the updated credentials.
Check Connection:

Ensure that your devices are connected to the extended network and that you have a stable internet connection.
