How much does Turkish Airlines charge as cancellation fee?

Turkish Airlines cancellation Policy is based on a number of variables, including the time of the cancellation, the price type the client chose, the amount of time between the cancellation and the flight's departure, the location of the departure, and many more. Turkish Airlines sells tickets with Economy Promotion fares that are non-refundable, therefore in the event that a ticket is cancelled, there will be no reimbursement or return due. In addition, clients with Economy Restricted Fare, Economy Flexible Fare, and Business Promotion tickets will not be eligible for a refund when cancelling their tickets for these ticket classes.

Turkish Airlines' cancellation policies state that customers who possess Business Restricted fare tickets and decide to cancel them must pay a $400 cancellation charge. Customers who have purchased Flexible Fare tickets but then cancel them won't be charged any cancellation fees.

The following are the key points of Turkish Airlines' cancellation charge policies:

Turkish Airlines will charge the passenger about 40% of the total booking price if they cancel their flight between one to twelve hours of the planned departure. The refund sum won't be paid to the customer's account until the cancellation charge and booking % have been subtracted.

When a customer cancels a ticket 12 hours before to the flight's planned departure, Turkish Airlines will charge 20% of the entire booking value. Only after subtracting the cancellation charge and the percentage of the booking will the refund amount be issued.

The consumer will not be entitled to any reimbursement or compensation if they cancel P, U, V, W, and F fare types on their own.
